F.P. Journe is a master – in my opinion. He is the Abraham Louis Breguet of our era. He is not only a technically innovative and brilliant watchmaker, he is also focused on constantly doing something that no other company is doing. This is how the Octa Zodiaque (aka Zodiac) came into being. Mr. Journe took his 40mm Octa style case, fashions it in platinum, then adds an oversized date, subsidiary seconds dial, a 120+ hour power reserve, along with a month and signs of the zodiac indication.

The movement is signed Caliber 1300 and says: “Adjusted 5 Positions” and “Exclusive Power Reserve System” and “Precision Chronometer” and the 22k winding rotor is engraved with the F.P. Journe logo and an intricate, hand engraved engine turned guilloche.

Strap is a hand sewn black crocodile Journe with platinum Journe buckle.
